Aberdare National Park’s Karuru Falls hike is an experience that will leave you in awe. No photograph can truly capture the breath-taking beauty of this place. Standing as the tallest waterfall in Kenya, it cascades down an astounding 273 meters. The falls are divided into three tiers, with the top tier visible from the viewing position. The lush vegetation of the surrounding mountains creates a picturesque backdrop, perfect for capturing stunning photographs.
The hike also includes visits to other notable attractions like Chania Falls and Queen’s Cave, adding even more excitement to the adventure. Starting from the Mutubio Park Gate, the journey takes you along wooden rails that offer magnificent views of the Karuru waterfall.
