DETAILED ITINERARY FOR 3 DAYS SAFARI

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS & ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY.

After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your hotel at 7am. He will brief you about the 3 days Safari. You will take the route to Northern Uganda with a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek both White & Black Rhinos.

After the trek, you will continue with journey to Masindi and have lunch from there. After lunch, proceed to the park for an evening game drive and you travel to the lodge for check in and refreshment.

Have dinner and an overnight.

DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE & BOAT CRUISE ON THE NILE

After an early breakfast/ packed breakfast, drive for the morning game drive by 7am. During the drive, we shall be in search for the big cats like the lions and leopards. We shall have sight of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, hartebeest, waterbucks, bushbucks and various bird species. Head to the hippo pool for the washrooms and have breakfast in case its packed.

By 11am, drive back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat, you will be able to see various Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and bird species. On this launch, you will be able to come to the bottom of the falls and thus giving you a clear view of the mighty water falls. After the boat cruise, we shall drive back to the lodge for an evening, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: TOP OF THE FALLS & DEPARTURE TO KAMPALA

After breakfast, through the park for the morning game drive as you head to top of the falls. Have photography and there after continue with the journey to Kampala with a stopover at Kabalega Dinners for lunch.

THOUGHT OF AN EXTRA DAY IN MURCHISON FALLS NP!

With this, you can visit the Chimpanzees in Budongo Forest, this Southern region of the park is home to the biggest mahogany forest in East Africa and habitat to the largest number of Chimpanzees in Uganda. During your walk, in the forest you may also come across other primates like the Blue Monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys and Olive Baboons. This activity is optional at an additional cost of $110 per person. (The cost for an extra night are not included in this price).

EVER WANTED TO GO ON A HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI.

Discover Murchison Falls NP from above! Go for this optional activity to experience the most amazing views of the Nile river, L.Albert, the great Murchison Falls and of course to get a unique aerial view of wildlife below. The launch starts in the early morning while it is still dark, so that you can see the sun rise over the park. Upon landing you will watch the park wake up while you enjoy a champagne bush breakfast (included).

This activity is optional at an additional cost of $380 per person.

VISAS

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda which can be obtained on arrival at $50 per person, single entry.

Passports must be Valid for a minimum of 6 months

Officials have a right to reject entry if you are found to have or show signs of communicable diseases.
