DAY 1:

• Departure from ELDORET to Kisumu at 6AM
• Arrival at Kisumu and transfer to RUSINGA island by speed boat
• Check in at RUSINGA Island lodge
• Visit to the TOM MBOYA Mausoleum, a tribute to the renowned Kenyan statesman and learn about his life and legacy
• Experience local LUO culture with a guided village walk and enjoy local music and dance performances
• Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch
• Engage in water activities such as kayaking, fishing and boat riding on lake Victoria.
• Relax by the lake side, watching the sunset over the tranquil waters of the lake.
• Enjoy a lakeside dinner at the lodge, followed by a bonfire and storytelling session.
• Overnight at the lodge.

                          DAY 2:

• Breakfast at the lodge.
• Depart by boat to TAKAWIRI Island, known for its pristine sandy beaches and clear waters.
• Spend the morning relaxing on the beach, swimming and snorkeling
• Enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach
• Take a guided nature walk to explore the islands flora and fauna
• Boat transfer to MFANGANO island
• Check in to MFANGANO island camp, located at a secluded bay
• Evening leisure time, with options for bird watching or a gentle hike to enjoy panoramic views of Lake Victoria.
• Dinner at the camp featuring fresh, locally source ingredients.
• Stargazing by the lakeside, appreciating clear skies and the tranquil environment.
• Overnight at MFANGANO island camp.

                    DAY 3:

• Breakfast at the camp
• Visit the ancient rock art sites at MAWANGA caves, guided by a local historian who explains their significance.
• Tour a local fishing village to observe traditional fishing methods and the daily life in the island.
• Lunch at the camp
• Leisure time to relax and swim
• Transfer to RUSINGA Island by boat then proceeds to Kisumu by a speed boat and depart to ELDORET by road.
