Lake Ellis is a stunning glacial lake located on Mount Kenya in Kenya, East Africa. At an elevation of 3,455 meters above sea level, it is the third largest lake on the mountain.
The hike to Lake Ellis is considered moderate in difficulty, covering around 14 km with an elevation gain of 505 meters from the Chogoria gate. The trail passes through forested areas and rocky terrain, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and peaks
