Our “Ruma Takawiri Rusinga Safari” is a multi-destination trip in Kenya’s Lake Victoria region that includes Ruma National Park, Rusinga Island, and Takawiri Island. The safari offers a blend of wildlife viewing, particularly the unique roan antelope and Rothschild’s giraffe at Ruma, combined with cultural and historical experiences on Rusinga Island (including the Tom Mboya Mausoleum and 18-million-year-old fossil sites), and relaxing, island-style activities on Takawiri Island.
