Mt Kenya Hiking Safari

Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest peak (5,199m), offers a premier hiking safari experience in 2026 characterized by diverse ecosystems, from tropical bamboo forests to glacial moorlands. Unlike the busier Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya provides a more secluded and scenically varied trek.

Core Hiking Routes:
Most trekkers aim for Point Lenana (4,985m), the highest trekking peak accessible without technical climbing gear.

Sirimon Route (Best for Beginners): Known for its gradual ascent and excellent acclimatisation. It is the most popular starting point, passing through impressive yellowwood forests.
Chogoria Route (Most Scenic): Arguably the most beautiful, featuring spectacular views of Lake Michaelson, the Temple Cliffs, and Gorges Valley. It is slightly longer and often used as a descent route.
Naro Moru Route (Fastest/Steepest): The quickest path to the summit but includes the challenging “Vertical Bog,” a steep, muddy section. It is ideal for fit hikers short on time.
Sirimon–Chogoria Traverse: A popular 5–6 day combination route that starts on the drier Sirimon side for acclimatisation and descends through the scenic Chogoria side.

3 Days 2 Nights Naro Moru route 40000/$600
4 Days 3 Nights Sirmon route  35000 /$720
5 Days 4 Nights  Chogoria route 45000/$800
6Days 5Nights Naro Moru-Chogoria 50000/$850
