Go for a 4-day adventure to Lake Turkana and experience desert, beach and boat rides on Africa’s beautiful island with three gigantic lakes. Walk around the unique prehistoric and archaeological sites near the largest permanent desert lake in the world.

Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Turkana
   • Fly to Turkana Lodwar Airport.
   • The local guide will pick you up and transfer you to Eliye springs.
   • Stop for lunch on the shore of Lake Turkana.

Overnight stay in the camp.

2. Day 2: Central Island National Park
   • Go for a cultural visit to a Turkana village and return to the camp for a sumptuous breakfast.
   • Leave by boat to Central Island National Park (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) which is a unique breeding site for the Nile crocodiles.

Overnight in a fly-camp on the island.

3. Day 3: Flamingo and Crocodile Crater Lake
   • Wake up in the morning and have tea, coffee and biscuits.
   • Take a short boat ride to Flamingo Crater Lake.
   • Return to the boat and go to the Crocodile Crater Lake.
   • Come back to the camp for full breakfast, siesta and lunch.
   • Experience a Turkana cultural dance, followed by dinner.

Overnight at the camp.

4. Day 4: Return to Nairobi
   • Enjoy your breakfast at leisure.
   • Travel to Lobolo oasis before transfer to the airport.
