The Mt Elgon Wagagai Peak hike is a 4-6 day trek in Uganda to the highest point on Mt Elgon, at 4,3214 meters. The journey is physically demanding, passing through varied landscapes like bamboo forests and moorlands, with rewards including panoramic views of the world’s largest caldera and the potential to see unique flora and wildlife. Key trails include the Sasa and Sipi routes.
